Recent advance of rare earth metal organic cages

Abstract:
Metal-organic cages(MOCs) have been widely investigated for their bionic feature and potential applications(e.g.stabilization of reactive species,catalysis,lighting and biometric imaging).Metal-organic cages based on rare earth metals were popular for their fascinating spectroscopic and magnetic properties.In this review,we summarized synthesis of rare earth metal-organic cages with different configuration and their applications in the fields of lighting,magnetism and catalysis.
